The 39th National Narrow Gauge Convention will be using the:

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sacramento

2001 Point West Way

Sacramento, California   95815

Phone number: 916-924-4900

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotels is 5.4 miles from the California State Railroad Museum which is located in downtown Sacramento. The DoubleTree is along the Interstate 80 Business Loop making for easy access. With the opening of the Golden One Basketball Center in Downtown Sacramento, that surrounding area has become very expensive and our $139/night per room and $159/night for a deluxe room rate is really a bargain. Reservations have just opened and the Group Code is NNG, for the 39th National Narrow Gauge Convention. Click here for the reservation webpage, or call  800-686-3775 and asking for the 39th National Narrow Gauge rate of $139.

We have been advised that there are 16 disabled accessible rooms at the Hotel. It is also advised if you need one of these rooms to first make your reservation for a regular room under the group code and rate, then call the 800 reservation number to convert that to an accessible room.

When making reservations for the Hotel on their website, if there are no rooms available in the NNG block for one of the nights you have picked, you will get an automated response that the room block is all booked. By calling the 800 number you should be able to talk to someone who can help you complete your reservation. We now have the Hotel rate available for three days before and after the Convention.

If you are having problems with reservations, please email us at NNGC2019@outlook.com. If we don’t know it is broken, we can’t fix it. For those who have contacted us about your reservation problems, thank you, it has helped us solve those problems.
